So something that always confused me about dying light is the fact you need a different ammo type for silenced pistols like u dont need different ammo for the same gun (unsilinced pistol) so what is stopping me from from using pistol ammo (common) instead of subsonic ammo (very rare) In real life you need subsonic rounds. Thanks, I ended up making the silenced assault rifle so I don’t really need the silenced gun. Infamy bridge is pretty good place to farm it. Personally i think the assault rifle with suppressor from the volkan combat dlc and the suppressed pistol from the secret agent dlc are the best. With this gun you can be stealth and deadly hunter you dont need to worry about noise but this silenced gun needs a special ammo. Even if Aiden had the capacity to craft a proper functioning gun rather than a boomstick, it still wouldn't matter because you'd need to be able to craft bullets, but without gunpowder, proper machinery, etc. That's 1 bullet per gun which costs around $10,000, I don't think someone will go that far paying $450,000 just for 45 Subsonic Ammo, this'll quickly burn cash, despite cash being easy to earn in Dying Light, it'll still easily burn any legit player's collected cash for hundreds of hours in matter of minutes, looks like an unwise thing to do at.
